Nobody else had Davin Vann anywhere near pick No. 211. The Cowboys did, by 67 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They have staked the next five years on Shedeur Sanders, which is the only story that really matters here.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Getting Horton where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
