The Buccaneers cashed the board's mistake on James: B.

You build a draft on nights like this. DJ James had no business being available in No. 125, and the Buccaneers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. No fireworks, but a solid B.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
