The tape said wait; the Cowboys did not. Zion Logue went at the 216th overall pick, a good 70 picks before the board was ready.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

Hart falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
