A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cowboys to a D-. The Cowboys bet big and early on Kedon Slovis, 102 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Isaac at that price is a win they earned.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
