The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The Cowboys put a flag in the ground for Jaylan Ford, 58 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They will answer for taking edge rusher early while tight end went begging. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

Jackson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
