The phones sank the Cowboys this weekend: D. The Cowboys did not so much draft Joe Milton III as overpay for him, 86 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The Fautanu steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
