The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Kedon Slovis at pick 216 is 89 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Kamara pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with tight end still on the board.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Bertrand.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
