The Chargers won the night they stopped Johnson from sliding. Grade: B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chargers were there to profit. Cornelius Johnson, the No. 187 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 225. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

Reaching for Spann-Ford left real value on the table behind him. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
