Nobody dealt better than the Browns this weekend: B. There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Browns started one anyway for Tim Keenan III, 46 picks ahead of schedule. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Pregnon to cover a lot of smaller sins.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick11
Rnd1
Jordyn Tyson
In Round 1, Pick 11 they get a home-run threat at receiver. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick43
Rnd2
Olaivavega Ioane
Value with a capital V on Olaivavega Ioane in the Round 2 slot, a genuine coup. It fills a real need, too.
Pick59
Rnd2
Emmanuel Pregnon
Nice patience on Emmanuel Pregnon, who had no business lasting to pick 59. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick70
Rnd3
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
Good price on Emmanuel McNeil-Warren in No. 70, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick87
Rnd3
Tim Keenan III
A big swing on Tim Keenan III at pick No. 87, well ahead of any board in the building. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick107
Rnd4
Blake Miller
A reach for Blake Miller in slot 107; a little patience would have been rewarded. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick139
Rnd5
Kyle Louis
No edge and no loss on Kyle Louis in pick No. 139; it is a wash and a sensible one. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
