Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Maxwell Hairston got past him. The Bengals do not have to explain a thing at No. 118. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. They will need Conner to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
