The Commanders won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: A-.

The Commanders torched the value chart for Demon Clowney, taking him 158 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Lew value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Commanders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In the end it comes back to Arvell Reese, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
