The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Browns reached some 31 spots for Eric Gentry, and value like that does not grow back. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They banked enough surplus on Lew to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
