FutureB-
A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bills a B-. When the story of this class is written, it opens with Shaun Dolac at No. 177, a reach of 160 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.
Sanders falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through offensive lineman.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.
Pick Analysis
Pick30
Rnd1
Kenneth Grant
In pick 30 they get a disruptive interior force, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick56
Rnd2
Azareye'h Thomas
Azareye'h Thomas at the 56th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick62
Rnd2
T.J. Sanders
Circle this one: T.J. Sanders at the Round 2 slot is a fall that decides a draft. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick95
Rnd3
Oluwafemi Oladejo
Oluwafemi Oladejo in slot 95 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick132
Rnd4
Kyle Williams
A clean, defensible pick in the 132nd overall pick with a little surplus value in Kyle Williams. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick169
Rnd5
Jaydon Blue
A premium they did not need to pay, Jaydon Blue a notch or two before his time. The roster fit checks out.
Pick173
Rnd5
Upton Stout
Upton Stout at the 173rd overall pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick177
Rnd6
Shaun Dolac
A real head-scratcher, Shaun Dolac in Round 6, Pick 1 is miles ahead of his ranking. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick206
Rnd6
Thomas Fidone II
Thomas Fidone II in No. 206 is fair value, right on his grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
