The Giants drew a line under the quarterback search with Milroe: C+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Giants were there to profit. Kaleb Johnson, the No. 39 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 4 slot.

Everything downstream of Jalen Milroe depends on Jalen Milroe, and the building knows it. They will need Milroe to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Paul Jr. pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with offensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots still on the board.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Hit on Jalen Milroe and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.

The board had Tyleik Williams higher than the 66th overall pick, and the interior defensive lineman fell to them anyway. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

They will replay Tyler Warren at No. 77 for years; that is how good the value is. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
