Draft Grade — Bears
Overall

FutureA+
The Bears left with their quarterback, and a A- to match. Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.
They will need Limmer to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
In the end it comes back to Caleb Williams, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Caleb Williams
In Round 1, Pick 1 they get the arm they will build around. A real need, handled.
Pick54
Rnd2
Xavier Worthy
Xavier Worthy at No. 54 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick75
Rnd3
Austin Booker
Austin Booker at pick 75 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick85
Rnd3
Beaux Limmer
Beaux Limmer at pick No. 85 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick122
Rnd4
Javon Foster
A clean, defensible pick in slot 122 with a little surplus value in Javon Foster. A need, and now a little less of one.
