The Bears let Sanders fall into their laps, and walked away with a A-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. T.J. Sanders tumbling to the Bears in No. 240 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Isaiah Wynn leading the way.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
