The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

The Bears spent the pick that matters most on Michael Penix Jr., and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They banked enough surplus on Polk to cover a lot of smaller sins. Every board in the league had Tupuola-Fetui lower, and that gap is the story. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
