Nobody dealt better than the Chiefs this weekend: B. The real work happened on the phones. The Chiefs fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.
That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while quarterback and edge rusher went begging. That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
If Solomon pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
