The Texans won the night they stopped Hampton from sliding. Grade: B.

When a board-topper like Omarion Hampton slides to Round 3, Pick 15, you do not overthink it, and the Texans did not. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: running back settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
