They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Drake Maye is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
