Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Cowboys were there to profit. Treydan Stukes, the No. 72 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 92nd overall pick. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Every board in the league had Wright lower, and that gap is the story.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
