When a board-topper like Trinidad Chambliss slides to Round 7, Pick 5, you do not overthink it, and the Commanders did not.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Reaching for Hunter left real value on the table behind him. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
