The needs board said one thing and the Steelers did another, using the Round 3 slot on Patrick Paul while quarterback, safety and other spots waited.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Powers-Johnson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
