The Dolphins got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Dolphins reached some 123 spots for Riley Nowakowski, and value like that does not grow back. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Dolphins indulged a want in Igbinosun while a need in wide receiver, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver.

On value alone, Scott makes the weekend a net positive.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
