The real work happened on the phones. The Bills fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They are betting Owens proves the room right and everyone else wrong. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Braswell. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
