The Cowboys did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Donovan Jackson fell into the 170th pick. A weekend of give and take that grades a C-.

They will need Sorrell to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Hit on Wyatt Milum and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
