Daniels is the plan now, and the Bears grade out a D+.

The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

Jayden Daniels is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
