Thirty-one other rooms let Kendall Milton slide, and the Saints were the ones holding the card at Round 7, Pick 10. Highway robbery. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Reaching for Bortolini left real value on the table behind him.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Adding Zack Moss by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
