The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Reaching for Coogan left real value on the table behind him. Getting Styles where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
