The Commanders looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Barryn Sorrell at the Round 6 slot regardless, 107 picks early. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Harvey at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
