Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Xavier Watts got past him. The Chargers do not have to explain a thing at the 84th overall pick. No fireworks, but a solid B.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Every board in the league had Sturdivant lower, and that gap is the story. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
