Somebody took the Patriots to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C-.

Jean-Baptiste has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Landing Pearl that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

So much rides on Marvin Harrison Jr. that the real verdict is a season or two away.
