Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueC NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Packers: B-.

Nobody had Caden Curry this high, and it is not close. The Packers reached 37 spots to get him at Round 3, Pick 20. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Hall at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Pick Analysis
Pick52 Rnd2 Derrick Moore
The board had cheaper options than Derrick Moore at the Round 2 slot, and it noticed. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick84 Rnd3 Caden Curry
They reached into another round for Caden Curry, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick120 Rnd4 Logan Jones
They jumped the gun on Logan Jones, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick158 Rnd5 Domani Jackson
A tidy little value on Domani Jackson in pick No. 158, a step better than break-even. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick199 Rnd6 Jadon Canady
They liked Jadon Canady enough to skip the value, taking him in the 199th pick. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick236 Rnd7 Trey Zuhn III
Trey Zuhn III in No. 236 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick254 Rnd7 TJ Hall
A cornerback of that caliber at pick 254 is the definition of value, full stop. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick257 Rnd7 Jalon Daniels
Jalon Daniels in Round 7, Pick 41 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
