The phones sank the Cowboys this weekend: D.

The Cowboys treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the Round 6 slot on Barryn Sorrell a full 122 spots early. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
