You could see the war room lean forward. Phil Mafah at the 232nd overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

The Dellinger pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. With quarterback, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
