Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall

Mendoza is the Raiders' new face under center. Grade: B-. The Raiders spent the pick that matters most on Fernando Mendoza, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had Zuhn III lower, and that gap is the story. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Fernando Mendoza
In pick 1 they get the face of the franchise. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick36
Rnd2
Colton Hood
Nothing to complain about; Colton Hood went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick67
Rnd3
Lee Hunter
They paid sticker price for Lee Hunter in the 67th overall pick, and that is fine. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick102
Rnd4
Caden Curry
No drama and no debate, Caden Curry went about where he belonged in No. 102. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick117
Rnd4
Bryce Lance
Bryce Lance at Round 4, Pick 17 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick134
Rnd4
Max Iheanachor
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Max Iheanachor. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick174
Rnd5
Lander Barton
Lander Barton in the Round 5 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick180
Rnd6
Le'Veon Moss
No edge and no loss on Le'Veon Moss in pick No. 180; it is a wash and a sensible one. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick183
Rnd6
Trey Zuhn III
Trey Zuhn III in Round 6, Pick 4 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
