The Cowboys went off the board in a big way for Tyler Batty, 35 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Jaxson Dart gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits.

They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. With cornerback, linebacker and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

Henderson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
