Flashes of a plan, unevenly run, for the Steelers: C+.

The Steelers went off the board in a big way for Javon Foster, 55 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Landing Sainristil that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
