The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Cowboys did exactly that with Kedon Slovis in pick 216.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
