The Cowboys bled value on every deal, hence the D+.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 74 spots for Jaylen Harrell, and value like that does not grow back. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The Harrell pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Johnson.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
