More right than wrong for the Packers, and a B- to prove it.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Packers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They banked enough surplus on Flournoy to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will need Jones to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
