You build a draft on nights like this. Jonas Sanker had no business being available in slot 255, and the 49ers did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

Reaching for Jones left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
