The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Jaguars watched Julian Pearl slide 32 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
