A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cowboys to a D+.

You can hear the double-takes from here. The Cowboys took Emery Jones Jr. at the Round 3 slot, roughly 47 spots before his name belonged. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Sanders.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
