Draft Grade — Bengals
Overall

A respectable, level-headed haul for the Bengals: B-. There is a lot to like until you notice tight end is still a hole. The Bengals never got to the one that mattered most. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
They are betting Styles proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick10
Rnd1
Sonny Styles
In the Round 1 slot they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker, reach and all. A real need, handled.
Pick41
Rnd2
Keith Abney II
No edge and no loss on Keith Abney II in Round 2, Pick 9; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
