More right than wrong for the Bears, and a B- to prove it. There is reaching, and then there is Devin Moore at pick 60. The Bears jumped the board by 26 and dared it to prove them wrong.
They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick25
Rnd1
T.J. Parker
In pick 25 they get a double-digit-sack hope. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick57
Rnd2
Kamari Ramsey
Kamari Ramsey at the Round 2 slot jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick60
Rnd2
Devin Moore
Devin Moore at the 60th pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
