The Broncos checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Broncos reached some 51 spots for Sam Hartman, and value like that does not grow back.

They banked enough surplus on Torrence to cover a lot of smaller sins. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
