The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Cowboys started one anyway for Barryn Sorrell, 104 picks ahead of schedule. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.

McCord falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

So much rides on Tetairoa McMillan that the real verdict is a season or two away.
