The board owed the Cowboys one, and it paid up: Dillon Gabriel, the No. 128 name on the board, sitting there at the 211th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

Turner has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.
