Draft Grade — Titans
Overall D
ValueB- NeedB TradesF FutureA
The Titans finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Oronde Gadsden II in the 119th overall pick, a good 61 spots before the room expected him.

The whole projection now runs through Cam Ward; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.

Getting Brown where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.

Pick Analysis
Pick3 Rnd1 Cam Ward
In pick 3 they get the arm they will build around. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick34 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori slid further than he should have, and the 34th pick is lovely value for the safety. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick35 Rnd2 JT Tuimoloau
JT Tuimoloau in the 35th overall pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick100 Rnd3 Tai Felton
They barely believed it either: Tai Felton still on the board at the Round 3 slot. It fills a real need, too.
Pick102 Rnd4 Devin Neal
Devin Neal at Round 4, Pick 1 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick104 Rnd4 Charles Grant
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Charles Grant in slot 104. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick119 Rnd4 Oronde Gadsden II
Oronde Gadsden II at No. 119 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick142 Rnd5 Cody Simon
Cody Simon at the Round 5 slot is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick164 Rnd5 Dont'e Thornton Jr.
They paid up for Dont'e Thornton Jr. at pick 164 when waiting would have done the job. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick168 Rnd5 Logan Brown
Somehow Logan Brown was still sitting there in Round 5, Pick 29, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick180 Rnd6 Jay Higgins
By-the-book stuff, Jay Higgins at pick No. 180 squarely in line with his ranking. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick236 Rnd7 Isaac TeSlaa
Nice patience on Isaac TeSlaa, who had no business lasting to the 236th pick. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick241 Rnd7 Zeek Biggers
They read the board right and Zeek Biggers was the payoff at the 241st overall pick. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
